Latest Website Project: Greensboro Power Studios
A few years ago, I was researching local businesses I wanted to collaborate with. That’s when I reached out to Greensboro Power Yoga, introduced myself, and offered my services. To my surprise, they were preparing to launch a second location focused on strength classes and needed help creating a logo set to complement their existing branding.
Fast forward a few years—Greensboro Power Yoga reached back out. This time, they were combining both studios into one and wanted a unified brand identity to reflect the merge. What was once Greensboro Power Yoga and Greensboro Power Strength is now Greensboro Power Studios.
One of their top priorities with the move was streamlining their two separate websites into one cohesive platform. They hired us to rebuild their site so it reflected their new brand identity while delivering a seamless, welcoming user experience.
Project Goals
From the start, we set out to:
Combine everything into one cohesive brand and experience.
Promote joint memberships for yoga and strength classes.
Create a user-friendly site with easy-to-find information.
Build a unique site that showcases who they are while giving visitors a welcoming, authentic experience.
Make yoga and strength classes feel approachable—not intimidating—for newcomers.
Our Process
We started by digging through their old sites, refining and narrowing the content to highlight only the most important information. Our approach always focuses on the visitor’s experience—not on cramming in as much business information as possible. If people can’t easily find what they’re looking for, they’ll leave.
After sifting through the content, we created a site map to serve as our blueprint for structure and flow. With clarity in place, we focused on layering in fun, interactive elements to leave a lasting impression:
Hero Section animation featuring rotating characteristics and values of the studio.
Sliding panels to display class descriptions in a clean, engaging way (instead of a basic dropdown).
Interactive class quiz to help newcomers find the right class and feel confident stepping into the studio.
Dynamic pricing display designed to feel clear, approachable, and visually engaging.
The Outcome
Once the direction was approved, we built the layout, plugged in the content, and refined the design with these standout features. After weeks of testing and fine-tuning, we launched the new site just in time for the grand opening of the studio’s new combined location.
At the end of the day, great web design is more than visuals—it’s about strategic planning and thoughtful execution. Without strategy, design is just decoration.
